Food Allergy Management Assessment Program- Are you prepared?
Loblaw pharmacy and DRUGStore Pharmacy™ have re-launched their Food Allergy Management Assessment Program, which was developed in partnership with Anaphylaxis Canada.
The program is aimed at helping allergic consumers stay safe and provides useful resources to help them manage their food allergies. These resources include:
- an anaphylaxis emergency plan, which provides information to teachers, caregivers, and others
- an auto-injector instruction sheet and a personal review of how to correctly use it
- an opportunity to sign up for the REFILLready™ auto-injector expiry date reminder program, which reminds consumers when it’s time to reorder (with reminders sent by phone, email or text)
The Food Allergy Management Assessment Program is available at the pharmacy in participating Loblaws®, Zehrs Markets®, Real Canadian Superstore®, Extra Foods®, Atlantic Superstore®, Save Easy®, Dominion® (in Newfoundland only), Maxi & Cie®, nofrills®, Fortinos®, valu-mart®, and Your Independent Grocer® retail stores across Canada.
To learn more about this program and the REFILLready™ service, please visit your local Loblaw pharmacy/ DRUGStore Pharmacy™ inside a participating retail store.
