Anaphylaxis Canada's Difference Makers Campaign

To help commemorate Food Allergy Awareness Month in Canada this May, we are recognizing the efforts of Canadians to help create safer communities for people with life threatening allergies.

If you know someone who has made a difference in keeping you, your child or someone else you know with allergies safe, nominate them today! Qualified nominees will receive a certificate of appreciation directly from Anaphylaxis Canada. It’s a heartfelt way to show your thanks to those in your community for their support.

Here is a list of our nomination schedule:

Week 1 (May 1-6) – Educators (teachers, principals, daycare providers, educational assistants etc.)

Week 2 (May 7-13) – Family Members (siblings, grandparents, relatives etc.)

Week 3 (May 14- 20) – Friends (family friend, friend of child, online friend etc.)

Week 4 May 21-31 – Other Professionals (doctor, nurse, politician etc.)

Nominate today at:

You will be asked to provide your name and email, the nominee’s name and email, and a brief description (max. 200 words) of why they make a difference for people with severe allergies.

Please note that this is not a contest or a competition; the goal is to spread allergy awareness by recognizing and promoting all of the positive things that are happening in our communities.

• Only nominations for individuals will be accepted (i.e., not companies or organizations).
• Any nominations deemed as incomplete, inappropriate or off-topic will not be considered for recognition.
• There are no limits on the number of nominations one person can submit.

Thank you for your participating and willingness to highlight great allergy aware “difference makers” throughout Canada.
