Who we are

We understand allergies and we are here to help you.

Anaphylaxis Canada was started in 2001 by a small group of people living with food and other allergies. Our hope was to create a safer society for a growing number of Canadians. Approximately 2.5 million Canadians self-report having at least one food allergy* and thousands more are at risk for insect sting, medication, latex, or exercise-induced anaphylaxis.

With offices in Toronto, Ontario and Kamloops, British Columbia, we provide information, programs and services to thousands of people each year. Through our media initiatives we increase public awareness and reach millions more.

We look for win-win solutions that benefit everyone.

Our mission is to inform, support, educate and advocate for the needs of individuals and families living with anaphylaxis and to support and participate in research.

How we're funded

Anaphylaxis Canada is a national registered charity. We are supported by donations, sponsorships, grants, and the sale of our resources, products, and services.
